Refunds and Returns
Sale items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Refunds – will be accepted up to 14 days for new, unopened items with original invoice & packaging. If items are not faulty, additional shipping charges are at customer’s expense.
Exchanges – will be accepted upto 30 days for new, unopened items with original invoice & packaging – for store credit or exchange to the sale value only.
We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or faulty/ broken item)
Faulty or broken items will be replaced with the same item only. Please keep supporting evidence in this event so we can open an inquiry with courier company if the item was broken during delivery.
All returns to be sent to us using a tracked shipping service so we can guarantee the safe delivery of your item to us.
You should expect to receive your refund or credit voucher within two weeks of returning your package. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return, the time it takes us to process your return (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (1 to 3 business days).
If you choose to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your credit once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
The Magic Brush offers free overnight* courier shipping on orders over $75. As stated on our shipping at checkout, please allow 2-3 days for your parcel.
Parcels are generally sent via Post Haste/ Castle Parcels/ NZ Couriers and are insured for theft or damage.
*Local & Residential – Target delivery is overnight (please note target only, we do not take responsibility for courier delays or bad weather delays)
*Regional & South Island – Please allow 2 working days
*Free shipping is not applicable on Rural deliveries, please allow 4-5 days for delivery.
*Shipping times indicated are target delivery only. The Magic Brush makes no guarantees for delivery of parcels on overnight courier. Every attempt will be made to process your order as soon as possible and courier will be booked by the end of the day. Circumstances are out of our control when the parcel is with the courier company. You will be sent tracking information via email once the item has been picked up and it is best to follow up direct with the courier company for the delivery/ ETA of your parcel.
The Magic Brush does not currently offer International shipping at checkout but we are willing to on a case-by-case basis.
For international shipping rates, please contact us. Shipping will be dependent on weight size and cubic volume of your parcel.
Exports out of New Zealand will exclude GST. You will be responsible for paying duty, GST and customs charges to clear parcel upon arrival at its destination.
We will consider shipping to the following locations – Fiji, Rarotonga, Tonga, Cook Islands, Samoa, Australia.
We will ship our custom-made prosthetics world-wide.
Refunds on Classes and Workshops
We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule any workshop, due to inadequate enrollment, bad weather, instructor illness, or an ‘act of God’. We also reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that our costs would be higher than our income. Please therefore do not leave it until the last few weeks if you are interested in a particular date, as you may find that it has been cancelled.
As our costs for each training event remain the same no matter how many people attend, like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights etc, we are unable to give a full refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances.
Absolutely no credits or cancellations for workshops cancelled more than 2 weeks after course start date. We will accept change of name in the event you cannot attend a workshop, it is your responsibility to find someone to take your place. Please note that we are not liable for any other costs incurred by you, so please check with us before booking any non-refundable accommodation or transport.
Photography and Media Rights
We reserve the right to take photographic, (both still and video) records of any of our workshops which may be used for promotional purposes, submissions, advertising and records.
We grant permission for participants to use any images captured by them during this workshop for self-promotion only. Participants may not make any financial gain from any images captured during this workshop.
